Over a period of two years Mick worked with the owners of Palacio Principe Real, a landmark new luxury hotel in Lisbon, designing and fabricating most of the external and internal steel features and details. These included Lisbon’s largest pergola, suspended garden seating, decorative fencing and railings, lighting, bar structures, bottle cabinets and a bespoke wine cellar under the grand staircase.
Mick’s Bar
Formerly known as the Duck Bar, we changed the name to Mick’s Bar in April 2022 in honour of our dear friend Mick Bateman. Mick was an integral part of the decoration and design of our project, and was sadly taken from us too soon. Everyone who stays here comments on his work and his spirit will live on forever in our Palacio. So join us for a drink in Mick’s Bar and raise a toast to his memory!
